Stand-Alone Trades Science Program
Choose from a variety of engaging demonstrations and hands-on labs that introduce students to careers in trades science where students don’t just learn about these careers—they experience the science behind them through exciting, hands-on activities and live science demonstrations.
- Trades Field Trip to the Edgerton Explorit Center in Aurora.
- The ideal length for a field trip to the Edgerton Explorit Center is three hours. A field trip includes your choice of two demonstrations or hands-on labs, along with plenty of time for students to explore the Explorit Zone.
- Thanks to funding for our Trades Science Program, we are able to offer a Trades Science field trip for just $3.00 per student, compared with our regular group field trip rate of $9.00 per student.
- Schools may also add additional demonstrations or hands-on labs for just $3.00 per student for each additional program.
