What is there to do?

As a daily visitor you have access to Strobe Alley and the Explorit Zone.
Strobe Alley focuses on Doc Edgerton’s life and works.  In that space we have historical artifacts, exhibits and information about Doc.  Explorit Zone is where all of our hands-on exhibits, puzzles and science discovery activities are.  These activities are where visitors of all ages are encouraged to engage in the learning process and PLAY!  If all you do is look at things with your hands behind your back, it won’t take more than 30 minutes to walk through.  If you actively engage in the exhibits many can spend a few hours here.

If there is a group on the calendar can we still come in as a daily visitor?

You are always welcome to come in as a visitor, but if we have another group scheduled we can get quite full.  Most groups spend time in the zone as well as doing demonstrations and other activities.  It is up to you whether or not you would like to be here with another group.

Do you have demonstrations or labs for daily visitors?

Maker Labs and demonstrations are typically done for group visits.  If the mad scientists are available, or if we have space we may invite you to join another group.  This is not always an option for our daily guests though.

Do you offer food or drinks?

We have a water fountain, but otherwise do not offer food or drinks.  We do have an outdoor patio space if you would like to sit and eat a meal or snack.  We ask that outside food and drink not come inside.  Your admission is for the day.  So if you would like to visit one of our fine establishments in town and come back after lunch, you are welcome to.
