2nd/3rd Grade Registration

4th/5th Grade Registration

This program replaces the former Wacky Wednesday program as a way to live out the Center’s Mission Statement and to offer extensive science programming to students in grades 2nd through 5th. This program will be offered on Wednesday afternoons during the school year to coincide with Aurora Public School’s early out.

Seriously Science Club (SSC) is a program for the elementary students 2nd – 5th  offered by Edgerton Explorit Center  led by our Mad Scientists, Dan Glomski (4th and 5th) and Jessica Brock (2nd and 3rd). This program will be seriously hands-on, seriously science, and seriously FUN!  Students involved in SSC will spend each session with science focused topics and activities (labs, projects, presentations, and field trips) as well as a daily snack. The program replaces the former Wacky Wednesday program as a way to live out the Center’s Mission Statement and to offer extensive science programming to students in grades 2nd through 5th. Students in this program should have acute interest in science  and respect for the scientific process.  Students interested in this program will need to go through an interview process to see if they would be a good fit. If your child/children is interested in this program, please contact Mary Molliconi.

SSC Program Participation Parameters:

Each group (4th & 5th / 2nd & 3rd) will be limited to 10 students. Students will be invited to join based on an invitation or can be selected through an interview process.  Cost will follow the same format as the MDC and is listed below.

Students will be bussed from school to Explorit Center and must be picked up no later than 5:30PM

There will be a mandatory parent / child informational meeting to set expectations for student participation and behavior in SSC and MDC as well as to answer parent questions. The meeting will be held on Monday, August 15 at 7PM.  Anyone unable to attend must contact Mary Molliconi to schedule a separate meeting time prior to the first day of the program on Wednesday, August 17.

The cost of the program per family:
