The Edgerton Explorit Center exists to instill and nurture in all people the joy of scientific discovery and exploration through hands-on learning experiences. Located in Dr. Harold Edgerton’s home town, the Edgerton Explorit Center inspires kids age 2 to 92 through exciting activities and state-of-the-art programming.

Our Facilities
The Edgerton Explorit Center is home to many exciting features. The hands-on museum is divided into many different areas. Our most famous area at the center is the “Explorit Zone!” Made up of nearly 35 exciting hands-on exhibits, you will find it hard to convince yourself to leave. This year, we have completely renovated our lower level. This still have a cafeteria seating area that can seat around 60 people. We have added a Discover-It Zone which is an extension to our upper level.
